DIAMOND JUBILEE

This year will mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II‘s royal reign and as a tribute to her majesty an array of celebrations will be held all around London until June 15. Unlike every other year England will enjoy a public holiday for the occasion, where we’re sure the pubs will have one of their biggest days this year.

Along with the iconic red telephone box’s and Abbey Lane crossing, London’s famous Harrods store has become one of the most recognised English icons. So in true patriotic form Harrods will pay homage to the Queen by displaying an array of famous jewellery designers own interpretation of the unforgettable Diamond Jubilee Crown.

Harrods will also be showing an exhibition of the Queens gowns and a visual display. The national anthem will be played every day of the month from their speakers on the side of the building and every hour on the hour between midday and 6pm on June 2nd.

Truly a special moment in history and what a way to celebrate!
